Some JAWS prop shots

I've just finished this lifesize Bruce fin so me and the kids (and the dog) took a few photos down on the beach...that was fun!

I have to figure out a way of getting this fin right into the sea and moving along for a fan-film...I made it in fiberglass so it's all watertight, but I think I'll have to break out the wetsuit and add a couple of handles to the base to control it myself from underwater?

Awesome!!!

It looks almost pleasant there... I can only imagine how cold the North Sea is at this time of year :eek:eek:eek

Thanks all - yeah the north sea is a bit choppy at this time of year, but it's always at it's coldest in March for some strange reason - something to do with the tides I think.

I'd love to hook that up to my jet ski and tow it behind me whilst screaming for help to the people on the beach. So if your ever down South gimme a shout :love

I would think that on a float with counterweight and towed by a jetski would work well.. Just be sure to go slow enough that the jetski doesnt create too much wake..

I do a lot of training for triathlons here in Florida. I would so love to strap that thing to my back for a trainings swim.

Mythbusters just aired a rerun in sharks myths with a robot shark chewing on Adam. That episode and your fine fin, make me want to see JAWS again.

Thanks

Sebastian

Thanks for all the nice comments, the photos were a lot of fun to take.

Hmm, counterweight eh? That sounds like a good idea. My physics are a bit sketchy on exactly how that would work though?

I wonder if two handles added to the base, a person holding the handles under the water (acting as the counterweight) and a tow via jetski would work?

It will be a case of trial and error to get the motion looking good on camera, I think.
