I've picked up a non-working CME1100. Same overall outline, but with more buttons. Are there any views of the 'eyepiece' additions? And it looks like the textured materials have been pulled off, as well as the lettered side mouldings. You can see the glue marks on the side of the casing.
Just grabbed a Sankyo Super CME 660. Going to try my hand at one.

Anyone have any additional reference photos? Particularly of the viewfinder? I looks like they just repainted the one used in the Last Jedi, but I don't see any good reference shots of that one either. From what I can tell they removed the trigger and added a few greeblies. Boxed in the viewfinder. Added a strap too.
The one from the Last Jedi appears to have a Leather strap added, while the Solo version has black webbing. I like the leather... I'm thinking about something like this:

Sorry, I obviously despise what Disney has done to the franchise and I just can't get my head around why anybody would want to recreate anything from the complete trainwreck that is TLJ. But then again, I loved the prequels and actually liked Jar Jar Binks, so who am I to judge?!

Gentle bump here- any more info, chaps? I’ve ordered a number of strap swivel mounts to screw in like the screen-used. Still looking for shots of the eyepiece section, and for 3D printed detail parts to appear. I know at least one fabricator is working on this- are there others?
Yes, I haven’t started yet. But I have one to work on as well

I may well start to strip and convert one of mine, and make an educated guess as to the eyepiece section, possibly using binocular parts. I can get three-quarters of it right, anyway.
