Have you watched this series in 4K?
The original was made by stamping but it will be very expensive to make it with the same effect. So I use milling and the edges will be clearer.

I too would like to see a weathered sample to give me an idea of what that would look like. That seems to be the finishing touch that would make this screen accurate.

I think if you wipe it down with black paint and then buff it out with .0000 steel wool, you should get a nice weathering effect.

Or aluminum black....to dial in the shade and intensity. I find it at time better than paint but this is the fun with finishing and weathering. Looking forward to this.

I'd like to see a weathered one. Also, I agree, the pattern shouldn't be etched if we're going for screen accuracy. I'd probably still be interested in 2 though.

If the etching of this is too deep, you can always sand down the high points.

Same goes for the weathering and softening the edges. That can easily be done yourself.

Oh I definitely agree. I'm just pointing out some things that I think would improve it. I'm looking forward to figuring out how to weather it and add more detail. I can't emphasize enough how impressed I am with how these came out and definitely want 2
