Found this while Googling. It pretty much matches what Id like to make. Are these all custom parts?

Ive been trying to come up with ideas for the inside of my saber. I want something inside when I open the clamp.

(I have a 1.5 inche tube saber with a graflex clamp in the middle, hollow tube upper, solid tube handle)

I dont need it to glow, but I need ideas for how to build this thing..

Oh yeah, due to the way my saber is constructed, I only have about 2.5 inches of space inside my top tube.

Why don't you ask the person who owns/built the saber?

The crystal looks like a natural quartz crystal. Quartz is inexpensive. There are stores that deal in gems, in most cities and on eBay.

You can see a bolt head on the right. The chamber is held together by the tension of the two bolts.
Each bolt goes through the thin disc on the far right, is covered with two brass tubes of equal length and screwed into threaded holes inside the left section. I can only speculate on how the left section is made.
The right section is likely a piece of brass tubing. The thick gold disc has holes drilled for the small-diameter tubing. The holes in the thinner disc on the far right are small enough for the bolts, but not small enough for the tube sections.

Some well-stocked hardware stores have piece of tubular spacers that go over bolts. Copper tubing of small diameters could be acquired from a RC model store. I don't think that brass is very common, though.

The saber builder in question was never mentioned, it was a random find on google.

Or else I would ask.
