I have a speeder that was built when they first came out.
One if these days I should dig it up and rework it.

BTW, if you want it to sit on a flat surface on it's wing tops you will have to weight the back end.

I'm sorry about the quasi-hijack.
I do have the Snowspeeder model, but have yet to start it.

I'll post some shots of my completed one when I get home tonight. I did extensive work on the pilot and gunner figure that comes with the kit... they were waaaaay inaccurate. I have another one in the works as well....been in the works for a while now... that'll go along with the completed one on a diorama base....

And unlike MR I went with the more visually striking orange markings....

Well, from what I can remember I used Camoflauge Gray...Testors I think.

Sounds about right... I was thinking maybe Light Ghost Grey, but if I recall, the two colors are very similar...

Do you know if the original models had "glass" in the canopies, or no "glass" like the X-Wings?
