Snake And Ram. Snake Pg3 Ram Pg5, 02/01/12

Thanks guys, i have sort of decided on a forehead pattern for RAM which i hope will be akin and in keeping with the rest of the losties.

(Yeah, Snake is a cool Lost Hunter as well, with his deer fur and such wrapped around him.)

I know some of you don't like the Ram bio, but I think I first started liking it years ago cause the mouth grill kind of reminded me of Darth Vader. It just kinda grew on me from there.
 
The P2z really looks nice even just with the small amount of paint on them! I especially like where the snake Pred is heading. Good sculpt mixed with good paint= Andrew is jealous!

Any chance you can sculpt a Pink Pred up? I think Andrew has a space on his display wall that needs filling!

Speaking of pink, the pics of that screen used Ram undermask appears to have some pink or light purple coloration in spots along the sides of the head. Wonder if those colors were originally there, or if they were more of a P2-ish orange that faded out over the years.....which would also mean ALL the colors in that head faded to a different shade then they were originally.....which likely did happen.


Anyway, if you follow all 10 known photos of that screen used Ram undermask and try and match the existing paint job as close as you can with what is already there, at that point then look and see the mask as it stands, and you'll figure out then what kind of paint scheme for the crown will look best in your mind's eye.
 
......and I'm back after reviewing all my Ram body pics, and that very light purple in the pics we've seen of the undermask was also used all over the body in various spots for shading in the final version of his skins, so that is confirmed as a true color! Note I said "final version" of his skins because those same shaded areas were originally orange before they switched it out to light blue and light purple. I'm not talking about the neon blue dots with white centers either, just the fading out shading.

Of course you already know I'm like the Ram research master around here, so just lending thoughts to this thread and its awesome project. ;)
 
Damn man, how the hell did I miss this thread.... grrrrr. Lee, that Ram is awesome really coming to life and he looks like someone has p**sed him off already, the snake not so much. But overall both paint ups are friggin awesome, I bowe down to you skill..... ALL HAIL USURPER!!!!!!


I have a sofa, hotdog, popcorn and my feet up for this one.... great work

The pink/light purple will be added on the head, but only around the crown, I have got a idea of the centre pattern , but i am keeping that to myself. ( incase it looks **** , i can always do it again if no one knows :p )

Just woke up, so toast coffee, and then another couple of hours on snake me thinks.

Should have a update for him this afternoon, I am going t make him look really grimey and dirty if i can.
