Smallville Superman Leather Jacket - Attention davidyr1!!!!!!

I'm looking at the larger bat chest logo right now....and it's beautiful. What a difference!!!!!!
We had to make a whole new jacket because the bat logo is not a separate element, yet part of the full leather front panels so once this next jacket is all stitched up we'll be ready for new pics. :thumbsup

About the 3 month payment plan...
To keep costs down, we finance the payment plan ourselves, so currently we try to keep it as an option for full sets of garments. I'm sorry but we can't apply the payment plan to individual garments or specially priced jackets such as what this one will be.
We're looking at $298.00 - $350.00 Max for the price..........and I'm fighting tooth and nail to keep it at $298.00.
We'll know soon enough....:)

Look forward to pics of the new jacket. And as far as the payment plan goes, that's pretty much waht I expected. I was hoping, but I still plan on getting one.

Will it be a limited run, or will I be able to wait a few months before ordering? The reason I ask is because I have gained a lot of weight this year and I am planning on loosing some of it. If it is a limited run I will just make a guess on the size I will need. But if it is going to be available for a while I would rather wait.

Martha Kent was the one who got him the costume (costume being tights and top to tights) the cape was given to him by christina milian in one of the episodes, title/number escapes me right now, but he spent the whole episode saving her so she called him "just like a superman" and gave him the cape. not trying to put anyone down or anything just thought id let yall know
 
I love the batman jacket here David, I still don't see it on the website, but I'm guessing its because its not finished yet? I have a request, I know your next planned work is star wars, and your liscense rights for batman appear to be movie only? but I'd love it if an arkham asylum style batsuit was made. and if it were released around the fall it'd fall in line with the game!

just an Idea, I love your work!
 
Hey, I am new to this forum but I thought I would add in the links I have found so far as alternatives to the awesome looking but slightly expensive Smallville jacket (not that I want to step on any toes as ReplicaProps jacket is amazing).

1. Smallville Leather jacket / Superman comic Jacket though the image is the same as seen earlier on this thread. I asked to see if they have an image to supply us avid fans with.

2. Smallville Leather jacket / Superman comic Jacket is another one but appears color/shield is slightly off.

3. Smallville Clark Kent Red Leather Jacket costume | CosplaySky.com is, also, a smallville jacket and looks like the shield is sewn on.

Other than these and, of course, ReplicaProps, I am not aware of any others. If anyone has any additional links please share. I am definately interested in this jacket and would love to be able to afford the ReplicaProps one but am currently having to look at alternatives.
 
lol, for that first link, they took my colored version of Replica Props' jacket on a mannequin upper torso pic. I feel flattered... sorta. However that is definitely not a good sign towards them being a good company to buy from.

Not diggin' the shield on the jacket in link 2.

I love the shield on the jacket in Link 3 but it is just stitching and not raised like the original. Still, nice jacket.

Another thing that I noticed is that the description says "Genuine lamb leather red color Smallville jacket." If the jacket is red you would think they would have at least used the correct photos instead of the altered ones.

But I agree that I would never buy one if they won't even use a pic of their own product.
 
i messed up and bought the one from the Leather Closet. they fooled me they didn't post their picture posted the real Blue/red jacket and i thought that was one that they made now im pissed and waiting for my refund. but even the though the S is stitched in the third link i like it. but the sleeves look a little off.

The Batman jacket deserves it's own thread!

I do agree that the Batman jacket deserves it's own thread. But I still see nothing wrong with talking about it here also.

This thread was directed at David specifically in the title. He said he wasn't doing the Smallville jacket but someone said they would like to see a batman jacket that was similar. I don't know if David had thought about doing one before this or if this thread gave him the idea, but either way I think that it is a natural progression of the thread. Just my opinion.
