Slow Horses (Apple TV series)

I just found Slow Horses last night and binged a few episodes. What a great premise for a story! Gary Oldman in particular is amazing in his role as the disgusting, vile head of this bunch of disgraced MI5 agents. Looks like there are several seasons for me to catch up on... and a new one on the way!

Anyone else enjoy this show?

Well, I did watch S1-S3 again. Even bought the Slow Horses book, so I'm a fan boy now. Anyone else looking forward to the S4 premiere?

Love this show! Gary Oldman is the most versatile actor I have ever seen.
If you can't get enough of the show, there are books too.

Been a devoted fan since the first episode. We had to cut back on streaming services recently and Apple was one, but we now have a 6 month free subscription thanks to a mobile phone contract and binged series 4 this weekend. Still as amazing as ever.
I love that it is still uncompromisingly British and hasn't been Americanised to appeal to a mass audience.
The trailer for series 5 at the end of series 4 looks great.

I hope we get at least 4 more series.

We are into second season now so that's proof we liked the first season, certainly something to scratch the itch some while they recast Bond and I love they are aware of Bond films in this. LOL Oldman of course is greatest actor that ever lived.



nit nit nit... I do wish the racking of slides and cocking of hammers wasn't done for dramatic/intimidation effect. Wasn't the gun not loaded already? Did you just eject a round because you wanted to rack the slide? When did you de-chamber a round? That's a double action, no need to cock the hammer. etc This show is class and they ought to resist those tropes. Again, nit nit nit.

Thanks Mate! I bloody love the show and so much of it is themed around a file or document that I couldn't resist. Plus I really love a good top secret document. Currently working on some more documents to go in them. It's great fun.
