Slade (Teen Titans) Helmet

Hey guys,
It's been awhile since I've been on TRPF, but I've had a ton of fun this year, and made a total of 6 costumes.

But once again i need the help of the community for a build. I'd like to make a Slade (aka Deathstroke)'s helmet from the animated series Teen Titans. I always liked the character and would like a project to work on.
Here's a screenshot.

I don't have the resources to sculpt anything right now, so I'd like to do a pepakura build. But so far i haven't been able to find a pep file for this helmet. Does anyone no where i could find one?
I could also use a Red Hood pep and modify it.

Any advice would be helpful.

That was actually my idea as well! I have EyeofSauron's red hood pep here. It's alittle overcomplicated, but I think I can work with it.

I've never done a pep project, but my plan is to do a slush coat of smoothcast 320 on the inside and them bondo the outside.

I got a rough helmet base from Ikkakuro and put it together. I had some trouble since it was my first pep build, but I think it will work. I'm thinking a layer of duct tape inside and out to strengthen it, and them start with the bondo.

A few more pics after some reshaping and then duct tape. it could be awhile before I post agains because using bondo in a dorm is not a good idea.

Looks like a good start on it! Teen Titans was my first exposure to Slade/Deathstroke too. He's on live action TV now, as one of the villains in CW's Arrow.

I'm nearly finished the first coat of bondo. I'm a little worried about the helmet holding its shape, since its just paper and duct tape underneath. I stuffed it with grocery bags for support. I'll do the edges, then add another layer and start sanding.

The more I look at this helmet the more I think it's not salvagable. It's just too uneven, it would take so much bondo to even it out it would be too heavy by the time I'm done.

So I'm down but not out. I'm going to use a different pep file and do it the right way, with fiberglass.

I got the pep from BlackKaos, and it looks great. It was super easy to assemble. I need to resize it but it's a great file. Here are some pics of the initial rough paper model. I just did it using printer paper, and didn't bother to do the ear domes, I just wanted to look at the shape of the helmet.
