hey guys,

Can anyone provide me with a link to leather binding an aged looking book/journal? I am almost ready to start construction on this project and need some good tutorial material for the construction process. I'm big into roleplaying on skyrim and the finished book will be my characters journal from the game complete with lore accurate text, maps and drawings to be used as a display piece in my home! Any help would be appreciated

Sort of, the journal will give the entire backstory to my RP character (he's an imperial blacksmith so the first part will cover childhood, joining the legion and fighting in the stormcloak rebellion and the last section will be more of a day by day. A mate of mine did a text version of a journal for a skyrim Werewolf hunter that he's now not using for anything so I might work that in as well! Thought it would look good in a nice case with some props like potions, herbs maybe a silver sword if I go with the werewolf thing!

Day 180, Yet another guard has told me his life story about being an adventurer like me but he took an arrow to the knee. It's starting to trouble me that all the guards in this land seem to have suffered the same injuries.
Also Lydia seems to behave oddly, She started to block the way out from a room by standing in the doorways."

HAHA!!! Yeah man, i'm with ya!! I went for Jordis - I was going to marry Lydia but then I took an arrow to the knee... :lol

You should mention the fact that Lydia really needs to stop just sitting in your house carbo-loading. She's gonna get fat! This sounds cool though. Skyrim props are really awesome to see.

Completely agree, I love Skyrim props - i've been trying to convince the wife that my dining room REALLY needs a replica display case (like the ones found in the game) i've got some nice red felt off an old pool table lying around somewhere...:rolleyes

I was surfing through Etsy and I found a store that sells spell tome sketch books. Going off your journal idea I think it would be really cool to compile all the text from all the spell tome books found in Skyrim into one book. I think it would be another really cool thing to pull out of your adventuring bag especially for a studying mage.

You know, I've been replaying Skyrim lately and I had started thinking how cool it would be to see a replica of the leather bound journals from the game. I look forward to seeing what you make.
