Size of Voyager, DS9, TNG rank pips?

Does anyone know the exact size of the rank pips worn on the show (Voyager, DS9 and/or TNG)? I have pips that are about 7/16", and these look too big to my eye. Apparently, there are also pips available that are around 5/16", and I wonder if these are closer to the "correct" size...

They're apparently 1:1 scale replicas. It doesn't say what the size is, but my bf bought his pips from roddenberry.com and they look right to me.
