Hey guys here's a teaser of my Michael keaton sculpt. It will be silicone when finished with acrylic eyes. Im going to be making one myself for the end of batman returns where batman rips off his cowl as a kinda reveal bust and also will probably sculpt a cowl for it a some stage for a classic batman look

Hope you like.It still needs a lot of work and nothing is definite yet but some of the main forms are down. I Will have more to show soon, getting ready for some heavy detailing. Any comments or critique would be great.

Thanks rberesh the eye needs to go close to the nose i just noticed as well as the cheekbone needs to go up more. Im pretty happy with it so far besides those things.

Looks great so far! The eye socket seems a little too deep or sunken in right now. He also has a very unique set of lips and lip line--- not that I've paid much attention to his lips. haha Keep posting progress!!

Looks great so far and easily recognizable - like you said the eye needs to brought in and maybe even the mouth and nose slimmed a bit, based on head size. But very good for what stage its at :thumbsup

Hey guys here's a pic of the sculpt as it was a few hours ago today. Im fixing the problems that people pointed out now. I;ve since taken the lips back to more of an m shape and changed the mouth wrinkles. The eyes in the sculpt were only 25mm as well and ive since changed them. The eyes have also been moved in more since this pic and im currently working on the profiles now. Ill have some pics of that soon as well. Thanks

quick update. still working on getting the likeness down before i start the serious texture. Changed some of the face and lip shape today. Any critique would be great here guys please as i wanna get this as good as i can get it. And if you think there's something majorily off please le me know. I think the eyes still need to be moved in more so im going to sort that next as well as the nose is too wide near the brows and maybe brows too wide also.

agree about the nose and eyes - I think once you adjust those you'll see a big difference. And I think the top of his head is a tad small, but that may just be perspective

Looks good, very recognisable,
It may be a bit symetrical , not the expresion but the over all , kinda like if you take a pic of your face with your web cam and cut it in half and flip on half mirror image over the other ,
If that make sense,

Thanks guys. Okay heres a pic from yesterday, Ive moved in the eyes a lot and got rid of the Cat fish look lol. I have started building up the ears and sorting out some of the problems with it. He looks kinda old at the minute but i think thats cos its still rough. Still lots to do and lots to sort out but i think it will look good in the end.Oh and i moved up the ear since this pic as it was a bit too low and changed the jaw line a bit. Its starting to look a lot ore like him i think and ill have some more pics this evening

Im extending his neck now as well. Think he would look better with a longer neck as keaton has quite a long one lol.

That's astounding, particularly from his nose down, I think you nailed it.

Just for fun, I superimposed what I gathered was your reference pic (or one of them)

If you look at his mouth and nose, you will see it is pretty much identical, which is crazy.

You said you have since changed the eyes, but in the old pic, you can see the left eye might be a little low. (Of course this isn't an exact science).

I also think Hecubus is correct, I think Keaton's forehead is slightly taller:

Thanks guys. Ive an update here. More updates. Extended the neck, moved the eyes closer although i think maybe they need to be still a bit closer. Reshaped some of the face and took the nose in at the eyebrows. Basically changed a lot but still more to change. I think it looks like him though. What do you guys think. Am i getting closer. Jaw needs a bit of bulking on one side and needs a bit of work on the lips again. They got a bit smudged today

Ill have more updates tomorrow. Here's a pic of the above one without the photoshopped hair. Any critique on this would be great guys both positive and negative so i can get better at doing this kind of thing. Cheers in advance
