Silicone and Plasti-dip...?

I have an item coated with Plasti-Dip, and I want to make a silicone mold of it. Anyone know if I need to worry about silicone reacting poorly against the Plasti-Dip?

Thanks in advance!

I've heard that spraying the plastidip onto silicone such as a mask would eat through it because it's in an aerosol form but I'm not sure on something already coated in it. Might spray a test piece and try it out.

Yeah, the plasti-dip was used to seal / build up the piece, so I can't take it off. I've tried spraying silicone after the fact, and it does not stick, but also did not eat through it. But in that case, the silicone was already cured. I just want to make sure the silicone will cure on top of the plasti-dip for this project.

Thanks guys

I actually have a similar question. I am looking to make a silicon mold of a costume belt that I have and am looking to pour Plastidip in to make new, one piece belts. As anyone ever tried this? Is the Plastidip just going to wind up stick to the silicon permanently?

Thanks
