Silent Bob's Bongsaber

Hey everyone,

I got a custom order a couple days back that's got me excited- but pretty stumped.

I was requested to make Silent Bob's bongsaber from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and to be honest It's been a good while since I've seen the movie.

If anyone has any pictures of the bongsaber (and preferably a place where I can buy a similar bong), I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Danny

Here's a clip to hold you over until you can get a copy of the DVD.

I'd be interested in one of these myself. In the past, I have looked around the net for a pipe that looks like the one from the movie. But, it doesn't look like any bong I have seen before. er... I mean... what's a bong?:angel

Thanks for the clip.

Actually, from the looks of it, it's just a metal tube with a garden hose-like 'trigger' grip on it, not much like most bongs I've seen.

Not like I'd know either, of course.:love

Hey man, I made an 'el cheapo' bongsaber for a costume party - here's the thread:

Here's a buncha caps of the hilt:

Hope that helps! :)

Make sure you post pics when you get it done.

I can't offer any pics besides the screen caps from the film, which you will have yourself once you see the movie again anyways.

The bong-sabers were shown on display at Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash (the one in NJ I think, there is one in LA also) at least a few years ago and I remember that people from this board took pictures of them there.
Anybody know if the bong-sabers are still on display in the store?

I remember that Bluntman's bong-saber was blue metallic flake, not purple like Cronic's

Wow, good work to whoever made that saber. Mine's not going to look as good as that, from what I understand he wants to be able to swing around a luxeon blade.
You guys say that Silent Bob's saber has a blue tint? From the caps it looks just metallic, and I was laughing too hard at the video to get a good look. Either way, I could use a metallic bumpy paint on it, so far I've gotten lucky with paint.

Yeah, that one was done by Tetmatek last year. He was wanting to do it for a while and finally went for it. Dang thing had Saber sound and "gurgle" sound as well.
