I think it looks really good in that one shot except for the frowned down mouth. Yes, the base will come with it and will most likely be polystone. The base looks fantastic.

So this thing is NOT screen-accurate? That really stinks. I am without any Indy props in my collection and this is really a must-have for prop collectors and was happy to see a licensed one (and that base is awesome too) but if I can get better on the black market, someone please point me in the right direction. I am such a stickler for accuracy and authenticity that I could not bare to buy a product that I knew was not accurate, even if it came with a fancy display base and certificate of authenticity.

I added my 2CW to their comments section. I recommend the same. It's cool they are duin this one but for what they are gonna ask for it I'll stick with the bank til they get it right.

Do they even listen to customer comments? I think they already made up thier mind on it. It really makes no sense because it's not a complicated prop - and given that it's pretty iconic as far as movie props go, why not do everything you can to get it screen-accurate?

THE only accurate idol is the Gobler Idol, period. The Gobler idol is cast from a LFL idol and plated at the same company that did the original idols form Raiders.

anyone know if the final verion of the sideshow will be more 'anatomically' correct then the proto pics on the site at now? it looks like it is whearing one of those shape smoothing wunder-bras.
