EDIT: ALL DONE! I'm still going to change the guage of the eyelets but I'm all done with my static necklace.

After searching a year for a really close chain, I couldn't believe it when I found it today!

Looks real good, Ry!

The originals probably used grain-o-wheat lightbulbs, giving the light a yellowish cast.

Are you considering using those LEDs that are off-white?
The ones that imitate the look of GOW bulbs?

I'm just about certain a dead-on, accurate chain would next to impossible to find, but I'll gladly stand corrected.

I'm going to find something to make do with for now. I just wanted to get the hard part out of the way. I've been screwing around with these for a long time.

I'm just not sure if enough interest would be there to make it worth the effort. I mentioned it about a year ago and it didn't really go anywhere.

BTW, in the original prop, the bulbs were connected to the brass eyelets, and the wires were soldered to the eyelets. Wires ran thru the neckchain to a power supply on the actor's back.

Don't ask me how I know, I just do.
