That's great Rylo. Really turned out nice. If you found a nice pic of Oddjob to put with the hat it would really finish off that display. Maybe even a little plaque.

Again... very cool!:thumbsup

Wow, that brings back memories. Really old memories. Goldfinger was the first Bond film I saw as a kid--not in the theaters, though...I ain't that old--and Odd Job and his hat scared the crap outta me.

Very nice work. :thumbsup

Yep, agreed. I'll come up with something. The pics seen above were just quick and dirty. That's not how it will be displayed. I was cleaning out one of my cases and just tossed it in for a fast set of pics while there was some room.

Well, got my Oddjob hat wrapped up this week, too!

I had a couple of 3rd generation Greek tailors track down the correct hat. Add the machine cut and pressed, polished metal band and you've got one 'killer' hat...get it?!

I'm here all week; tip your waitress. :confused

Anyway, here's a couple pics. Feel free to PM me with any questions.

Makes a nice looking display. Lock and Co. made the original hat. Sadly they no longer make the "square crowned coke" that Odd Job wore. I suppose you could have one custom made by them and pay a small fortune. Or you could get one of these.

Very cool and as usual very well-done!

Okay, so I'll ask...have you tried throwing it yet, just to see if it flies?
No, I'm serious. With it being weighted, I think it would glide pretty well. :thumbsup

Of course you'll need a marble statue to act as a target.:lol

LOL FJ!

Rylo that is an awesome display! I mentioned in your other thread that while not accurate to the hero screenused piece I liked the photo you had of the one where you could see metal beyond the brim. Because otherwise it just looked like a plain old hat...

But with this display you have an accurate hat but the blade is still visible, Brilliant! :thumbsup
