SHOWOFF: RS Prop Masters "HDPE" Replica Stormtrooper Stunt Helmet

Si and Rob, that's a real beauty.
It certainly deserves to be displayed in it's raw form.

I'm feeling a sudden craving for more TK goodness. Must resist!!

I recieved my kits last thursday. It's amazing to see how completely different each pull is shaped right out of the box. And again they are super sharp! The faceplate has just as many (if not more) bumps and dents/texture as the back/cap.

I agree! it is crazy the amount of details on the face-plate as well, what it kills completely the bumpy cap Myth.

Cheers

A

This is THEE ultimate Stormtrooper helmet bar none.. In the Past, I have owned two of TE's .. One PVC and one styrene kit (as seen on jez's site)

This puts the TE's to absolute shame ..

Anyone know if these are still available in the green nasty stuff??

I finished one of mine last week. I still need to paint the tear and rear trap stripes though. I'll have to upload some pictures...

On certain question:

Isn't it silly to use polyethylene if you going to paint it?

Greetings.

Jeebus!

The details on these casts are unprecedented! Incredible!

What would RS Props suggest you paint these with?

Rich

I've done it, I painted it :)

Those helmets are gorgeous.
Could you tell me what those indented dots are all over the helmet, I have never seen those.

Thanks
Chris

Thanks guys! Yes, it is vac- forming holes, but the question is, it is present on the original helmets!? Yes it is... I have no high resolution pictures, but from a pic one can see with imagination :). Much paint running up in the holes.

WOW, great job!

I can't wait to finish one of mine. What paints did you use and is the paint stuck to the helmet well, or does it flake off on its own?

Keith.
