wow you guys have some sick collections . I ran into a collector few years ago we did some trades. He told me they made some proton packs out of wood and Fiberglass but most are very FRAGILE and tend to break. I have seen them on ebay for as high as 3k .
I would like a light up with sound . Can you Busters reco me a seller or maker i can buy one from ?

i LOVE your slimer head! it looks like coming thru the wall! is the back lit? or are my eyes just being dumb?

Thanks! I'm pretty fond of the spud. Nope, your eyes don't deceive you! I wired up a few hyperbright green LEDs in the inside of the casting and used several small green acrylic rods to lift him about 1/4 an inch off the wall. It gives that nice 'phasing through the wall look' that I was aiming for. :)

No one makes the packs on whole to sell. You can purchase the parts and there is the GBfan web site GBfans.com that has all the information to build your own pack.

Having built a couple packs in the last year, I figure currently you can build a nice high quality fiberglass pack with full lights and sound for about $ 800 in parts. Once you have all the parts assembled, I have popped my two packs together in less than two weeks with a few hours a day in working on them. Obviously it is easier once you have made them and are familiar with the parts needed and suppliers out there.

Haven't mounted mine yet (it needs some repair work) but I plan on making a box on the wall kind of like the ones in hotels with the fire hose and have "In case of ghost break glass" written on it. :)

This is my sons pack we built together along with his gear:

This is a pack Outlander has lent me to use as a reference when we built our last two packs. We have used it as well to go out trooping several times as a three Ghostbuster team. It has the original ist generation Hyperdyne sound system and amplfier along with a very early on light system. It takes about 25 D and C cell batteries, the pack has a weight of about 45 pounds. My newer fiberglass shell packs weigh about 20 lbs, using 3AA, 2AAA and two 9Volt batteries.

Here's my meager GB collection. The Gozer doors is probably one of my favorites. I have a damn proton pack hanging on my wall and everyone always comments on the doors.
