Here's why my first USCM helmet is for sale. I recently received my custom made replica Colonial Marines M10 Helmet from RPF member Marsattack (Marcel). What a wonderful piece. Mars was great to work with and produced this beauty for me using a real USGI M-1 helmet as a base. His attention to detail, craftsmanship and screen accuracy is commendable. His communication and updates made this the ideal transaction.

Beautiful! How did you get the drop down eye piece to work? I have the eye piece but do not have the skill to install it on my helmet.

It was pre-cut when it arrived, but I had to use a Dremel with the drum sander attachment to open up and recontour the opening, then I used short screws with washers to mount the eyepiece. I had the eyepiece for my other helmet, but mounted it on my new one today. I just marked it when I had it placed where I wanted it, then drilled the holes in the helmet to match to ones in the "ears" of the eyepiece.

Awesome helmet. I've got a disassembled SPAT metal helmet, real Pentax lens and all of Marcel's parts (microphone, earpiece, eyepiece). One of these days I'm gonna have to get off my butt and assemble it.

I have the same helmet with Marcel's bits on, its fantastic quality isnt it. Im chuffed to bits with mine, I went for the helmet cover on mine though

Hi guys just a quiky . I am building an m10 helmet and need help with the ir eye piece and the lobster plates any one able to help eg templates or where to find them would be realy welcome . thank you in advance .

I hope I am doing this right any way I am seeking help with an aliens helmet build. I have used an iraqi helmet as a base, an old ear defender that I have wired up a pmr headset into and an old bad resin cast camera but I need help with the lobster plates and the ir eye piece this is my first time gents so please be kind thanks
