I was about to order 5 gallons of slip-cast latex from California. The operator told me it is recomended to ship next day air because if it goes ground, it could get ruinned by the cold weather during shipping, which could take 4 to 5 days. The choice is mines. Any bad experiences? i really dislike this time of the year.

We're right there with you. I'd wanted to get a 55 gallon drum in here back when it was halfway warm, but I couldn't get enough cash ahead. :( Right now, we've been getting a gallon at a time from the guy that sells us our Ultracal, but he's beginning to run low too. We left a message with Jeff at Death Studios to see if we could drive up and get 5 gal from him, but we haven't heard anything back yet.

How much is your place asking for next day shipping? That might be worth it if you're going to be selling enough to offset it.

Good luck.

http://www.monsterclub.com gave a a $79.00 shipping quote over the $149.00 fee of the 5 gallon bucket.
