Shia LaBeouf Throws Coffee at Paparazzi Then Runs Away

exactly my thoughts.

Look at Hugh Jackman, that guy is amazing with paparazzi. Even when he is upset, you cant even tell and he doesnt display it or take it out on them. Even his family knows how to deal with them. It is part of show business. Either adapt to it or dont.

Shia is a ******. The way I look at it. More paparazzi will be following him now because of the incident.

or be like harry potter. After his play on broadway, he would wear the same clothes leaving the theater. It became pointless to take pictures after a week because all the shots were the same haha

Why exactly is stalking actors to see what they are doing in their personal lives acceptable? Someone who just wants to entertain and play a part... it's okay to follow them everywhere with a camera? What the heck does acting have to do with having no personal life?

Basically, what you're saying is, if you have a great talent for acting and love doing it, but want a personal life, you might consider neglecting your talent and working in a car wash instead.***

***not that I'm saying Shia LaBeouf is talented

And why does anybody care about an actor having a cup of coffee anyway?

Slightly off topic, but I have a friend who looks JUST LIKE Shia LaBeouf. It's hilarious and he hates it when me and my friends remind him of that. LOL

If it's in a public area i don't see the big deal, it's public there are already people looking at you so what if someone shoots off a pic or 10 you shouldn't be doing anything private in a public place anyway cameras or not.
When they're climbing trees and stuff to shoot photos over walls in private property then yeah that's invasion of privacy.

The big question i've always had is who the hell wants to see this rubbish anyway ?
It's the people who buy this crap that need to get a life not the paps or magazines, they're just feeding the retards who buy the magazines.

I think that's sort of a common line of thinking that runs through this thread and somewhat misstates the issue (no offense intended to you in particular.) The paparazzi, at least from what I've seen, are rarely JUST "taking a picture".

To me "taking a picture" is just THAT - you hold up the camera, go "CLICK", and you're done. There's no intrusion on someone or their space. I agree that a public figure should not have too much damage with this.

But what the paparazzi do, as you can see from most TMZ videos and the like, is something entirely different. They are constantly yelling at their subjects, trying to get some reaction in order to get a better shot - often times what they yell are not just "hey, can I get a picture" but comments about the celebrities lives, work etc. All designed to get a reaction. And, IMHO, often times, they're trying to get a BAD reaction because those pics sell for more. Get a celebrity to look unhappy at your incessant yelling, and you can sell it to the Enquirer, who will then caption it with "Angelina's Secret Agony over Brad's Infidelity" or something similar.

Put yourself in their position. You're walking down the street and people are quietly taking pictures of you. Of course, you probably wouldn't mind - heck, you probably wouldn't even notice.

Contrast that with - you're walking down the street and somebody (or a group of somebodies) you don't know is walking with you the whole way, yelling at you, asking questions, demanding that you stop, all while they keep taking your picture. And this doesn't happen just once in a while, but EVERYWHERE you go. You can't walk from your car to a restaurant door without this happening. You can't take your kids to the zoo without this happening. You can't take a quiet stroll to think about something. Don't you think it would wear on you? I definitely think I could not live my life like that.

Sounds like my wedding. Thank God I'm never doing that again. :lol

Shia was just mad they caught him practicing for his next big job: serving coffee at starbucks after he badmouths Spielberg and Lucas again. TMZ is worse than any tabloid that was on before and half these news channels treat them like they're a legit media form.

I just don't know why paparazzi have to go shooting pictures of these people when they're just trying to read a book or shop or anything normal people do. Leave them alone! Who wants to watch a celebrity walking their kids to school or anything? Keep it on the red carpet and then leave them alone.

You know who are the lucky ones are those celebrity voices we hear from our favorite cartoons or trailers, but they could walk into a store almost anytime and never be noticed.

I just want to say that I completely agree with this - I hate the paparazzi. They need to get a life and leave people alone. However... celebs need to know that its part of the job - they're not going away, and how you respond to them defines how the world sees the "real" you. Go ahead and be annoyed by them, but dont overreact and just give them pictures/video to sell! Lets not forget that these are people who choose to be in the public eye - its not like he's a family member of someone who just was murdered or went to prison. He's an actor and his job thrives on people knowing who he is. By now actors should know privacy is a sacrifice for fame. This is the only time I have heard about him acting this way, so maybe he was just having a bad day or something. He didnt do any real damage so its forgiveable.

PS - I didnt share this so much to hate on Shia Lebouf (who I dont care that much for), but more just because I thought it was funny.

Maybe the paparazzi should learn that getting beat up, having coffee thrown at them and being regarded as the scum of the earth is just part of their jobs and quit whining.

Because they get paid simple as that.
Some people obviously do want to look at the mundane every day crap or there would be no business.

Let's say you get a good shot.

What are we really talking here. Best case scenario. What is it really worth?

Who buys them? Where do you sell them?

Anybody know?

Hundreds, even thousands depending on the shot (and timing, and circumstances..).
Try any of the popular celeb mags you find at the supermarket.

If these so called "celebs" only knew how good they have it - most have no idea how the real world struggles to make ends meet, especially right now. Shia is handed millions upon millions to talk to bumblebee or tree swing with monkees while homes are getting repoed left and right and some have no health care - a picture of his dumb ass drinking coffee is a small price to pay to be above all that.
