This will be my first build after being so over-the-top inspired by the likes og Sofaking, Nylongag, katsu-san and so on and so forth.
I've wanted the Kino from Stargate Universe for some time and I just couldn't find a way to get started. I have never done anything other than building a few H0 scale houses for the sheer fun of it, so this is quite challenging.
First of, I have no idea how this is going to look when I'm done as I'm merely doing this as I go along. I've purchased a transparent plastic sphere, normally used for christmas decorations, I think. The kino has this kind of weird structure inside it, where the cameras are mounted and the likes. I've tried with some thin strips of wood, primarily used for boat building, maybe. However, they can't really pass as the structure inside the prop from the show. I've tried heating some plastic trimmings from a model house, but it just goes everywhere.
Does anyone have a suggestion? Haven't really seen many of these around.
