Hello! When showing my collection, there are a couple props that I would like to point to, reach into my pocket, push a button and have it make a cool sound. So I am trying to figure out the simplest way to trigger a sound effect from my props on-demand, kind of like those remote-triggered...

I am curious what colors people are using to paint this? Is the body plain white or slightly off white?
Royal or navy blue for the grill? Very excited to build this!

It's really hard to tell on the show, because of the strong color grading in many of the scenes.

After repeated viewings, I came to the conclusion that plain white and navy blue worked best in a variety of lighting situations. Don't forget to consider your own display situation!

I wanted to share my finished build and give a big thanks to the OP! I need to do a little more work to get the grill to sit deeper in the frame but overall I am pretty happy with how it turned out.
