separated Spider-Man Costume

Hi Guys and Gals this is my first thread and i have always wondered why has no one ever made a spidey suit that was in multiple pieces as we see in the comics or movies.
I know a lot of people want that seamless look that we see in the comics and movies via a unitard but i was wondering if anyone had tried making a costume made of multiple components.
For example the mask, top and bottoms as individual garments while trying to retain that fitted almost seamless look.

Actually lots of people have made a multi-piece Spidey suit, it's just the one/two piece suit is more common. Here is links to videos that show how to make a 9-piece suit from an awesome fellow RPF member:
