Seeking reliable Brass caster

I'm looking for someone I can send a large wax positive to as well as a separate piece (also in wax)
to have cast in Brass
.
When assembled it will be an ornate crucifix that is 14 1/2" tall by 10" wide.
Anyone know someone that can handle the job?
Thanks in advance.

How complex are the pieces? A large lost wax right now for me is impracticable time wise, but I could probably get a sand casting done without much hassle...

Still looking...

Dude,

i found this link, hope it can help. I don't have a furnace to heat up the brass, otherwise I'd go for it as a lost-wax process. I have a friend who does have heat... I can talk to him; are your wax models ready for the investment - sprues, gates, vents, pour holes? Do you have the flask to put it in; and the investment material to pour into the flask?
(did you make a copy of your model, the wax?) just in case!

hope this helps!

Thanks for the input!
I'm talking with exoray about doing a sand casting of the pieces I need but as of yet I don't even have a casting!

I just finished another project I was working on and you can see that if you are interested over in the "What's on your workbench?" thread.

Today I'm cleaning up my shop and then starting in on this.
When I'm finished I'll have a mold so I can pop out some plastic or stone pieces and yes, wax as well.

I'd prefer to do it in the "Lost wax" method but no, I don't have the investment material nor a flask (and I don't think I've ever seen a flask that would be big enough for this project)

Can I check back with you when I have a mold?
Thanks for the link, I'll definitely check it out.
