Screen Used Hero Berserker Helmet

This one has been a long time coming and is very close to a holy grail for me. Predator is one of my all-time favorite movies but trying to get an original Predator piece from that movie is all but impossible (and insanely expensive). While a lot of people didn't care for it, I LOVED Predators, almost as much as the original, so when I got a chance to snag the hero helmet for the main Predator, I couldn't pass it up. I can screen match this to about 1/3-1/2 of the scenes in the movie including the fight with the Classic Predator. Best of all, this helmet has three REAL lasers in it (not just lights), so when I turn them on, they throw the triangle pattern on the wall!

You can indeed. It is pretty interesting just how rough these helmets are!

I've said this before. They only care about what looks good 'on camera', Props (as well as make up) often look terrible in the flesh but great on film. Props are nearly always rough close up.

Agree dude. If you look at the paint jobs on the avp bios they are so bland and boring. Just silver with a black wash, that's it pretty much. But they do look good on screen.

While I am not a huge fan of the AVP helmets, I think you might be selling them just a bit short on the paint. They do have more than just silver and black on them. There is a bit of rust color thrown in to give them a bit more dimension, but overall, they are somewhat flat.

That is a nice find. My personal opinion is that jaw bone looked hokey. If they were going to do that they could have put in  another hour and made that jaw bone look right.

Maybe you got a stunt helmet? They ain't like us lol. Every attetion to detail all nice and polished, not a brush stroke out of place. It's if looks good on the lens than the eye.

I liked Predators too, but I hated the berserker design. They should have left it in the hands of ADI/Legacy rather than hand it over to KNB.

Yea ADI did some earth shattering things they used a off the shelf Mcfarlane Queen figure and modified it 
wonder how much they charged for that piece LOL  .

That is a nice find. My personal opinion is that jaw bone looked hokey. If they were going to do that they could have put in  another hour and made that jaw bone look right.

I will be the first to admit, I initially didn't care for the Berseker design either. I personally prefer the Tracker style of mask. However, this helmet has grown on me quite a bit over the past few months and in person, it is pretty bad ass.

I like the bio's I like the Preds in the film. I just didn't like the Berserker unmasked, I didn't like the swept back dreads and the insect like design of the crown and mandibles. I didn't like how they took it upon themselves to introduce a different predator race, retcon style.

Keeps it new and interesting I thought. I didn't mind the berserker design. To tell you the truth I didn't like the way they brought back the classic pred. Thought that was a bit lazy really.

This is amazing, huge congratulations Art!!! I wish I had known about this although I suspect it may have been out of my price range anyway. Would it be too rude to ask what a screen used Bio like this cost out of interest?

I love the Berserker bio design personally, it's probably the most aggressive looking design we have seen so far. I like this a lot more than the prototype version personally.
