Screen-Filmed Dilithium Crystal

Yup, the same ones that the Doohan family have been selling on ebay for... forever? Supposedly from the dilithium mine scenes on Rura Penthe in ST VI. Supposedly.

Looks like the Doohans family has a Dilithium mine of their own....

Hi, This is Chris Doohan. Yes, we have been selling them for a couple years and I understand that you're scepticle... I would be too. However, we purchased / won 18 auctions from It's A Wrap, with some of them (dilithium) exceeding 50 lb's. We are down to about 10% of what we originally had, so we will not be selling them for much longer. Roddenberry.com is selling what they have VERY cheap, considering that some have sold for as much as $300.00

I would be more then happy to answer any more questions that you may have.

Live long and Prosper. Chris

No need to apologize for me. It just seemed so odd that they (Doohans) had so much of the crystal that they could keep on selling it for years.
In my little mind, i thought they just had a supplyer for the crystals thus making it unlimited. But now that Chris has told about where and how much they got, i understand that i was in error.

Thats why i am saying "sorry, i was wrong"

Welcome to the board Chris.

SOOOOOOO you know everyone here is drooling to hear of any TOS type prop pieces in your collection or stories you have tell :love:love:love.

I just wanted to add that I'm selling the Star Trek Shuttle bulkhead that Capt. Kirk (Chris Pine) bumped his head on in STXI. I have it on ebay now, but it's going to be in the next (after the June one) Profiles in History auction if it doesn't sell.

I'm confused about these...they say "show used" on the auctions, but I thought the ones from "It's A Wrap" were from one of the movies.

Not an attack, just trying to understand which Star Trek they are from...

My understanding is that they were from itsawrap and were used in Trek 6.

If he is new here it is very possible that Chris does not know how we term things. I remember waaaayyyyyy back in 1999 I actually had to ask what people meant when they said STTOS!!!!

Ha! I still don't get half of the acronyms used...

I was reading a TIME article and was impressed by the writers expansive
vocabulary when three quarters of the way down what to I happen upon?
---the worst of all acronyms, "BFF".

They're everywhere...those acronyms.
