Thanks. Can't believe its been 7 years already. And yeah, something like this could have made a really awesome kit.It might be seven years old but it's a dam fine build and worth commenting on..
Simply Amazing!
What's even more Amazing is that Psygnosis/Sony never released these as a kit! (As far as I know)
I'd love to see a show based around the WipeOut series, I still play it from time to time.
I always loved the behind story and seemed slightly reminiscent of F1 racing but with greater risks.Thanks. Can't believe its been 7 years already. And yeah, something like this could have made a really awesome kit.
As for a show or movie, I had always thought the first few pages of the booklet (badly scanned here) would be the absolute perfect setup. A show would probably work out better. I think the first few episodes would be these scientists developing the technology and could be done in a similar way the first Iron Man showed him building his suit over time and trying out different things.

Its funny that, after I built mine, I've now ran into serval people who have built one, and its always the Feisar team.I always loved the behind story and seemed slightly reminiscent of F1 racing but with greater risks.
I'm off to buy some cintra/styrene for another project later but tempted to have a go at one..
Not paying attention, I guess.Wow where was I on this one nice job as always
Yep you got that one rite, I will start paying more attention I have been trying hard on that one. And sence I have I have seen some very cool stuff some of that being yours Thanks Friend JimNot paying attention, I guess.
I check here all the time and still end up missing whole entire builds that turn out really awesome.
That was literally the hardest to fly but once mastered Oh Boy did it win races..Its funny that, after I built mine, I've now ran into serval people who have built one, and its always the Feisar team.
I think the Piranha team would make a cool one as well, with its red and yellow colors.
I could see that detaching off the top of a larger craft's fuselageFinished!!!!

Thats really awesome. Its sad what happened with the team who made Wipeout and their relationship with Sony. I forget all the details, but it was something that ended up not being so great and they all left, but Sony owned the IP type thing. This screams enjoyment on a Friday afternoon!
It's got interesting comments too..
I agree with you about all the projects, then thThats really awesome. Its sad what happened with the team who made Wipeout and their relationship with Sony. I forget all the details, but it was something that ended up not being so great and they all left, but Sony owned the IP type thing.
So they went on to make a spiritual successor, which started out being called Formula Fusion. I actually wrote to them over this built, which they thought was really awesome, and even sent me a T-shirt that said, Formula Fusion, but on the condition that, at the time, I didn't mention it.
The game had major delays and they even renamed it, Pacer, which to me doesn't sound as cool.
It finally got a full release on October 29th, 2020, but with only average ratings. One of these days I plan to buy and play through it, just keep getting to busy with a million projects or other games.
IMO it foreshadowed too many of their flagship games..Thats really awesome. Its sad what happened with the team who made Wipeout and their relationship with Sony. I forget all the details, but it was something that ended up not being so great and they all left, but Sony owned the IP type thing.
