What is the price for a real original WWII TANK SCOPE M32/M19 FOR E-11 BLASTER should cost?

IIRC the last ones on ebay went for about $260 (in "good" condition).
Back the days, a M19/M32 cost you at least $350+

I've always found the M38's to run about $100-150. I haven't looked for one for a while though. The M38A2 version used to go for as little as $50-100. The M38 has a couple variation. The 1942 and 1943 models are slightly different.

Its a 1942 M38 they must fetch more than that surely if $150 is right i'll just keep it :unsure

Like I said though, I haven't checked in a while (a few years), so they could be significantly more. I wouldn't mind taking it off your hands, but my E-11 doesn't conform to any of the screen used variations as is. I have a 1943 M38 on there right now and I can't justify spending more unless it's on an M19/32.

I'd be taking a loss at that price and i'm really not desperate to sell it for anything in particular was just thinking about it so was wondering what the market was like guess i'll hang onto it for a bit.
Thanks for the info man :thumbsup

I got my 1942 M38 for 110 over 3 years ago. Guess I lucked out.

I got my M19 for 200 about 2 years ago, which was not a bad price at that time.

Funny thing is, I've been looking for an accurate scope to complete my Fett ROTJ blaster, but its turning out to be harder then I thought...

Dep. on the E-11 blaster you intend to build, you need either a M38 or a M40 variant...

Both seem to fetch quite a dollar, if the right people watched the same auction. I found that $100 - $150 is the absolute max. for them with the M19/ M32 being significantly higher (see my above post).

$150 isn´t a "bargain" for a correct M38 IMHO, you must be lucky to fins a person who is willing to pay much more for it.

I´m in the same boat for the other scopes...

- Have enough M19/ M32´s for all blasters I´ll ever build
- Have enough M38/M40 for my current and future blaster projects
- Have enough Single Points (all kind of variants)
...
- DO NOT have enough ASI and/ or Model 7 scopes :cry

Paid $186 for this (incl. shipping) back in Nov '07

I remember an ebay auction description for an M32 or 19 in which the seller stated he had grabbed it from a warehouse full of them before it was bulldozed--with all its contents.:cry

I just receive my scope for my (future) E-11 blaster but it’s a little different, it’s marked telescope M77C, stock No. 7578383 and also it come with mount. And one more thing that I do not know what is on top for. Go to the link see the pic. All the measurement is the same like the M-38 BLASTER SCOPE.

Sorry, but I have to disagree...the measurements are NOT identical.
The M77C as well as other M38/M40 variants have this added, lengthened mid section. The thing attached to it used to be connected to a power source and allows the range finder to be lit from the inside by a small bulb.

Almost the same measurement it’s the best‘s I could find . Thank you for the information of the attachment on the top of the scope. Anybody has more information of the attachment.
Markus.

Thank you

It looks more like an M38A2 to me than an M38. Either way though, it will look good on a Star Wars blaster.

As long as we're widening the subject to M38s, I used an M47, which I had not heard of previously, on my modified MR:

It looks just like an M38 to me; can anyone spot any external differences?

I can see a couple but it looks good.
It looks like the back section before it joins the front section the angle straightens out on the M47 not on the M38.
There's also that little nipple bit before the front section too on the M47 is not on the M38.
Also note the front foot is positioned differently there's a gap between it and the front section on the M47 but there is not on the M38.
The proportions look closer to the M77C to me.
