I just don't think a Marvel lawyer would be going around making people stop selling DC items. As a Marvel lawyer, does he even have the authority to do so? I would assume yes, he is a licensed lawyer so technically he can enforce IP laws as he sees fit, but I would think a top lawyer like him would have his hands full of Marvel related issues.

Unless he is feeling like doing DC a favor while he's already going after people for Marvel violations, it could be someone who, in the heat of the moment pretending to be this Pan fellow, they made Snikt shut down everything just for the sake of shutting him down. But now that we have other prop makers getting shut down, it may just be the lawyer is helping out DC while he's at it.

All to be determined, but I would definitely like to see the email exchanges between Snikt Shop and this lawyer.

I really don't understand the idea that somebody is impersonating Mr. Pan. If this were the case, the impersonator would've stopped after taking down the Snikt Shop. Why would he continue shutting down other IP violators?

Even Winant / Logan has verified that Pan is, indeed, Pan. I think Logan's original suggestion he's fake will end up doing more harm to people like "mysuperheroguy," who stated in his fb post that he sent a C&D of his own to Pan. The only thing that's going to happen is the lawyer is going to go much further than a C&D; he's going to take these people down hard.

Also, Logan claims Pan "framed" him, and he's not the one who reported "mysuperheroguy" to marvel.

Exactly. It's all a bit confusing and makes little sense.

And Winant is dumb if he is saying he is being framed. He has now shared his 'poor me' post three times that clearly states he will be singing like a canary if his shop gets taken down. Now it has, so he is. Simple as that.

Ok so apparently, my friend caught wiff of this thread and said something to this Winnat character about how wrong it was. Note that she does NO prop stuff, she just admires people who do. She's telling me that he had gotten in touch with facebook or something and now can't access her profile because facebook disabled it. He's not only going onto people who does props, he's going after people who have 'tarnished his reputation'. I hope he reads this because she's told me that she WILL be taking legal action against him.

He really needs to step back and think about who he has screwed over and stole their money. If this claim is true, then he might have finally ticked off the wrong person.

I would think that he has better things to work on.

I hope that "mysuperheroguy" and other prop / cosplay makers will not fall for this ruse.

Ron's not received an actual C&D, what happened was that Greg Pan was messaging FB and various other sites to take down pictures of Ron's Thor Costume, and said that so long as Ron promoted his works and costumes based on Marvel properties, takedowns would continue. This seemed to be what Dave got as well from the thread in question. The other thing is that Greg Pan has a history of overzealousness and going after people that he had no business going after. For example, he chased after TechCrunch when they did a full theater group booking for IronMan 1 back in 2008, and they HAD cleared it all through Paramount. Yet they still got a message from Pan saying they were to cease the screening. The end result was lawyers from TechCrunch AND paramount got involved and told Marvel's legal team where to stick it and it stuck. Which probably has to do with why Ron is ignoring Greg.

So far though, yeah, it's just Dave's word he's not involved in the mails Greg Pan's been sending. There have been no actual C&D's year, just takedown notices on pictures, and while it's weird all Greg said was "It was that guy from Snikt Shop" instead of naming Dave/Jim specifically, like you'd think a lawyer would do, the fact there was a shop named seems weird either way. Ron actually assumed right off the bat that Greg was affiliated with RPF and thus "that's why the Junkyard is immune to this stuff".

No one has yet received C&D due to Jim Logan / Sniktshop / Winant actions.
It is possible that takedown notice was sent out to prop makers.

"Mysuperheroguy" is a banned member of the RPF, so it might be best not to mention / involve his name going forward.

A associate of Jim Logan / Sniktshop / Winant is promoting his stuff with my recasted helmet ( the crest is not my work).

More than likely, it has been taken down by now.

Based on the pic, it looks like they are rebranding for a new website / facebook page.
So, i would expect to see "www.loganprops.com" to be similar to the Sniktshop.

With some many alias, its no wonder the Marvel lawyers has a hard time with what to call

Jim Logan / Sniktshop / Winant / outlawprodux / Dave Produx / IamYourHeroes and now loganprops.

Hopefully, i did not miss a alias.:unsure

I believe the multiple aliases are merely chaff in a very poor attempt to keep Marvel off his back end.

Clawguy link isn't working. But goes to show how desperate this guy is to keep his shotty business open. Can someone post a video of this guy doing his 'promoting/hosting' thing? I can't imagine it would be bearable. I mean, how convincing can a guy be who isn't just a host in costume, but a guy who ACTUALLY thinks he is these characters?

I predict his performance is about the same quality as the wrestling franchise.

I believe that loganprops is legitimate, but clawguy is a ruse.( due to the above pic being posted.)

Currently, he is on a campaign of getting peeps fb pages deleted / block (by any reason. means possible) & blaming others.
So. lets be smart about what is posted. Understand that he has access to what ever is posted on this thread, so lets not give him more ammo.
