I mentioned this situation to my squad, and one of our guys is buddies with the geekfest organizer and has already informed him about this, so we should hear back hopefully soon.

If you have been defrauded over the internet by purchasing something you have not received - and if you are 45 days over purchase PayPal usually does not do anything - there are two things left you can do
1) if you used your credit card to pay thru paypal with - you can take it up with your credit card company
OR
2) Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) | Home … ----> The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).

You can also dispute the charge with your bank. I've seen people also getting a few refunds after 90 or even 120 days from Paypal (i.e. the ironleoman foam suit snafu) for unsent items. IIRC the success of that series of refunds started with one person disputing with Paypal through their bank, and then after the first customer's Paypal was credited it established a foothold for others to be refunded. Needless to say, a lot of 'let me speak to your supervisor' and document sending with Paypal was involved, but it looks like they've been pretty successful (and these are $500-$1000 refunds). Anyways, just an FYI.

What people who order from him need to do (you know there will be people), they need to tell him he has 45 days to give them tracking...PERIOD. If he wants the order, he will agree. If he takes issue with the request, take your business elsewhere. He has been diligent about setting the work period to just pass the 45 day mark. Tell him if he doesn't come through with tracking by day 45, a case will be opened. Once a case or two is opened, or multiple cases are open at the same time, they will freeze his account and all funds will be on hold. That would cripple his business.

What I have done before is file a claim at the 44 day mark. Get the money back and then just send the payment again. That way you have another 45 days. If someone can not get you your stuff after 90 days. Best not be sending those people money to begin with.

of course he's still reading this. What else do you think he would be doing? Making peoples orders? He doesnt start on those until 45 days after its paid for.
The kids deadpool mask I believe is for a customer that wanted it by the time of the len Wein appearance or right around there, and he didnt make his timeline. Who woulda thought. And based on what I read he showed up to that signing after certain customers that were supposed to have received said mask so that he wouldnt have to deal with them.
Every day this guy becomes more and more of a shady ******* it's not even funny.

You are correct sir. That customer actually came to me about his kids not getting their purchases. As well as another one about a mask they didn't get and now another one who was owed a full costume and surprise, didn't get it.
He lurks online stalking us, hiding outside of conventions making friends "make sure the coast is clear" (I've witnessed this personally) and badmouthing people he's wronged and those who defend them.
I'll just say this, the rest of the year is going to be *EXTREMELY* interesting for him. Luckily, whatever happens, ALL of it will be on film for all to see
