And the ass hat is back here is his latest post. https://www.facebook.com/iamwolverine?fref=ts

"In all of this madness, there are people reporting my name on here...I dunno how that helps their supposed goals, but They are wondering why nothing has happened?..... well, I had some haters do that in 2012 also. I submitted my driver's license to FB as required and cleared my name in their system already. You can try throwing eggs instead? that might get the work done faster? ...oh that would require you to do something in person. Btw, this is not directed at customers or clients of mine....just the people who are after me for their own entertainment, and/or hate for me/their mundane self/life."

now here is the thing i doubt he cleared the name he is using seeing as it isn't his legal fraking name. Unless you legally changed, but doubt that.

Also he is such a freaking "keyboard warrior" i'm willing to bet if someone he ripped off were to confront him in person he would **** his pants.

I wonder if he knows that displaying , altering , possession of an altered driver license is in violation of CA penal code 470
and if used in a fraud scheme constitute forgery, identity theft and fraud and is punishable with jail time?
And i think in Fl , it is a felony.
Guess it depends of which state driver license he has and or "submitted"

But i really doubt if he did submit anything to FB.
You can't be that stupid, to fake a license, submit it to a business, just to keep a fake name.
Again, proving intent to defraud.

He's already stolen a felonious amount of money, do I doubt he's concerned about a DL.

He might have actually changed his name. We had a guy here on the RPF, member Steve Rogers... who actually legally changed his name to Steve Rogers because he loves Captain America :lol

I'm super excited that all these outlets are picking up the story, but I do feel a little bad that it took this long for his business practices to be exposed. Other people have lost way more money than me to this guy and, even if it was only $50 for some of them, it's not something anybody should go through. :/ People should have been heard way before me. I'm not particularly important.

Anyway, his pages keep getting activated and deactivated. Don't pay him any mind. I'll update if people find he's making new pages and I'll continue spreading the word about his scams, but otherwise I could care less about what he's up to. ;0 I do know for a fact, however, that he's obsessively stalking my pages and messaging anyone who speaks up against him or posts their own experiences. Shame on him.

Also, please don't harass his girlfriend. She may well be an innocent party in all of this. Let's not harass anyone, actually. The truth is enough for now.

i have been following this thread and have read everything about this guy since yesterday, for some reason i am so immersed in why this ****** bag is still allowed to do thise?! but anyway the reason for my post is this :

He has two closed groups on face book that are still active as I am your heroes, one in Florida and the other in California...these people are sheep.
IamYourHeroes.com Los Angeles/California Network
https://www.facebook.com/groups/450645875027416/
and his personal page (still under Jim Logan/logan props) is up again..he just keeps tweaking the name a little bit every time he takes his page down. i reported him again , hehe
not only that is his business face book page is still up as well

Let me be clear..... I in no way meant to harass daves girlfriend. Since he clearly has a history of domestic violence (he told me through text last year he put his then gf jessica LG's head through a window) It was meant more to be hey.... see this guy yea thats who you're dating.....however if she is a willing participant in the scamming its open season

my big question is this: does this guy design anything himself from the ground up or does he just use patterns you can buy from foamcave or just recast other people's work?

It's been exposed for a while, in onsies and twosies here and there but it's taken this long for it to reach such a widespread group. When the random person here and there gets taken and mentions it, it soon disappears. However, it would seem that he has gotten greedy and has started scamming with a greater frequency, bringing it into the spotlight on a larger scale.

Whereas I agree with you insofar as we should not harass his girlfriend, I wouldn't call her innocent, per se. Although I don't think she is actively engaged in helping him scam and steal, there is no way anyone can make me believe that she is ignorant to his business practices.

I've had a few friends share your blog from the link on my Facebook (I've posted it twice actually) and even had a share by the League of Hot Geeks, who have a pretty significant following on Facebook. The word is getting out there, we just have to keep pushing it.

Believe it or not, he does have a few original designs. If I'm not mistaken (although I could be) his Captain America armor used in BitS's Cap vs Master Chief was an original design. However, most of his stuff is recast directly and sold, some is recast and tweaked.

Lol @ a guy who copied and illegally sold copyrighted items acting like he has any chance of a lawyer giving him a second look.

I was just informed of this.
This comes from a slightly different view point.
But i thought it was fair and unbiased.

Expect a predictable knee jerk reaction from Winate of setting his social network back online.
Sad, but predictable response.

yep!

I love the following quote:
" This is not a witch hunt. These people have every right to be upset, voice their concerns, exchange stories with each other regarding their business experience with you. Most everyone in the costume community saves up for a long time to be able to even AFFORD a custom-made prop or costume. If you fail to deliver what you promise, they are going to warn each other…. Deal with it. You have the potential to do great things, and I have heard plenty of people come forward that are pleased with your work, but it’s your business ethic that is severely damaged."

And we know Jim will cry that it IS a witch hunt and people are just ganging up on him. He is so blind and narcissistic .

That's an excellent article, though I don't think it's fair to say victims just started appearing this week.

This has been going on for years (my own transaction with Logan was over three years ago). I researched him before making my purchase, but I only found positive feedback. The deviant art article appeared soon after, and I joined the group challenging this scammer. I remember contacting various comic stores, the zombie crawl, etc and simply being dismissed.
