Scammer , recaster warning : latest alias Loganprops, recent alias Snikt Shop

I was just contacted by Jim Logan on Facebook. He claims he was not the one who contacted me for the prop, but that someone was "pretending to be" him. Those comments on Instagram must have gotten his attention. The first thing he told me was,"I've never even talked to you".
So, maybe it wasn't him... just someone claiming to be? I'm not too inclined at this point to find out who or why, but I'll post when I figure it out

This guy never claims that he has talked to anyone who's been ripped off. In fact, I'm surprised he even has a business considering how many people he's "never talked to before/doesn't even know." For an "entertainer," he doesn't know very many of his own customers.

Classic ploy to make you look dumb instead of him. He's also claimed his Facebook has been hacked and that someone was screwing with customers through his account.

Yeah, ok guy.

Don't be fooled. He knows exactly who you are, he just doesn't like being called out. Only his dumb*** followers believe that crap.

Unfortunately people tend to talk tough behind a keyboard, and when the chance to confront him presents itself....
There are a million excuses why they couldn't do it at that time.
I wish I was able to be at one of these cons.... This guy needs confronted on camera. Confronted at a booth or better yet, on stage on a Panel so he cannot run away.

Yep.... That is his usual response. He never is the one who scams or contacts, "it was the other fake Jim Logan"... He is hacked more than anyone else I know :lol

You have a parade of friends with signs walk up in front of the stage. Signs can say anything about this tool being a thief.
Carry a megaphone and just throw questions at him. Put him in the spot, not after the contest, but right in front of everyone, on camera. That is how this needs to be handled.

I bet you can put a blast on social media that anyone scammed by this fool, to meet up prior to the event and they can all carry signs.
If he hears about it prior to the even and drops out because he is afraid... Then you win.
Everyone can organize one before each convention he is scheduled at, and if he cancels them all... Then good. He can hide or show up and face the humiliation. I will be his choice. The more he hides and cancels, the more we win. The time he shows up and gets confronted, we win big!!

I guess his sales must be suffering, for him to have need for new source of scamming material / props.

And i agree , even preventing a new sale / scam is a win. :thumbsup

Make no mistake about it. This behavior is an innate part of his character.
He will continue to scam buyers out of their $ and recast props until he is in jail / court.

To all the peeps who support or pity or tired of hearing about this scammer,
perhaps you should send him your own personally created props
and ask him to "send me a better one using the same design".

That's the thing.... Don't hide it. Put it out there.
Shout it out..."everyone who is ready, we are meeting at the con this weekend".
Let him read it. Let him see just how many people will plan on being there.
What can he do? Discredit it? How? No matter what he has to say, he won't have guts to show his face when he knows we will be there.
If he does decide to show, then the confrontation is on. But my bet is that he will not show. If he keeps avoiding cons since he knows people will be there.... We win.

The thing is guys, I never mentioned it was a Spider-Man belt.

If I see him at a convention I'm going to, albeit cautiously as he's quite a burly looking fella, give him a piece of my mind and have my camera rolling the whole time.

I'm not condoning violence... If he touched you, call the police if you are uncomfortable, after all you will have video evidence. But if he touches you, you are then well within your right to stand your ground.

So, after a long conversation with the man, it seems as though the person who contacted me, whose email address stopped working after I started posting here in this thread (hmmmmm) , was not LoganProps.
I can confirm this as I had a discussion, and am very capable of telling if a person is lying or not. I am a Community Manager after all.

I'll be retracting some statements I made here in an effort to adhere to some code of conduct I should have had earlier.

How about I "deduced" (hate that word) this based upon information, observation, and detail?

I may be gullible, but only because I usually assume the best of everyone; which is what I should have done here to begin with.

Whether he is or is not the person who contacted me is now out of the window, as I could not care less; I still have my prop and nothing besides my time was taken up on this issue.

I'm sorry for the false accusation on my part.

location of where the email originated from.
