Scale Target

Hello Everyone,

I was watching Hell Boy last night and saw a tool that would be useful in adding a scale reference to a photo.
I saw that there are many places on the web that sell these but I figured I could make one for free.
So here it is.

Enjoy and I hope it is helpful.

Scale Target

Link doesn't work-- I think because the site requires a log in.

Could you repost the content or describe the "tool" in greater detail, please?

Sounds cool.

I am going to use it as a means of judging the scale of a prop that I can lay it next to.
At CIII we had access to a bunch of R2 parts and not everyone had a set of micrometers so This is something that could have been used to get a good scale reference from.
All you have to do is set the prop next to it and take a picture, later you can either use Algebra to calculate the dimensions for the part or you could import the photo into AutoCAD and scale it so that the 1" mark is the correct size.

Nice :) I just can't work in Imperial any more. I've even substituted terms like 'Missed by a mile.' with 'Missed by a click.' and 'that was just an inch away.' with 'that was just a mil away.'

But it'll be a rainy day in hell before I start calling a Vergee a Hectare.

Sorry. My mistake.
