Thanks to my thread here, I was contacted by the person who ran www.scale-modelling.com and he has refunded my payment from September 2019 and has said that he will send out the 1/72 upgrade parts to my friend.
As a heads up to other model makers who may go to his website, he said that he has not been running that website for a year and it needs to be taken offline.
