hey guys i gotta drop out of this one it turns out my once a year family vacation is the same week as the con and my chaparone(brother) decided he was goin to do that instead

i'm tryin my best Pdisc, the greenlight is on...
sandy has agreed to hold my suit and my spear for me till i get there, and that was my biggest concern. I didn't want them sitting in some hotel shipping dock
so i'll probably be heading down to the show with him.
how can i not make my best effort to hook up all of you....

What do you guys Think?
Every year The 501st takes a group picture at 8:00 a.m. on the steps behind the convention center.
I say we crash the picture. Photo of Predator group taking on 501st it would be a blast.
The group pic always draws a crowd.
Then when the Con opens we can all walk in together.

I would love to go over as you are all aware Im new to this and have been a closet Predator fan since I saw the first film. I hope to have my complete suit by mid May. Although Im from Ireland I would love to be there, will keep you posted. Although I have not made my own suit does that matter ??

Sorry to ask this in the thread but anyways, some of you that have gone to a few celebrations/events ect do you go dressed on the plane? I intend to go to the starwars celebration next year and Iam really trying to figure out one thing, when I get my pred suit later this year, how will I transport it to the location. I was thinking of asking the airlines if i can go on the plane dressed so I dont have to worry about putting the costume in boxes/crates w/e and have them in the underbelly of the plane while I travel because ill be worried of them getting wrecked or something. So if you have traveled on a plane have any of you guys worn your gear?

hahah i thought so. So yah defenetly changed my plans on the whole starwars thing, Ill be going to the Comic Con next year(2009) so I have been going over in my head how in the heck am I going to get my costume out there?!? I imagine I can bring it in big container and fill them with newpapers or what not to make sure they dont get damaged, I would just be more scared then anything to have them go in the belly of the plane and not see whats going on with them
Has anyone had to take there costume with them on a plane and made it safely? And what did you do?

Got mine as well. It seems anyone planning on attending HAS to register online for a ticket, whether it's 1, 2, 3 or 4 day pass!
