San Diego Comicon 2008

Hi! I'm currently looking at an hotel for the con in downtown San Diego. If anyone's got some recommendations or some tips, please sent a pm. Thanks!
 
Turning out a bit different than planned as my buddy needed to cancel his trip to SDCC this year due to personal reasons. That leaves me with a room booked for two people for the moment. I'm thinking about sharing it at this point. The hotel is located a little beyond the gaslamp district, but should still be within walking distance to the con. Members interested can shoot me a pm. I'll hold it untill after the booking madness starts on Feb 6th.
 
I see you guys there. Im only a 2 hour drive away from san diego. Which days are you guys going in suit? I am going for 2 days. One in suit, one as myself.

I have a room booked at a hotel in the gaslamp district i am not usuing due to having one at the marriot next to the con. I am going to cancel it but, if someone needs it we can try and transfer it into your name. Pm me for details. Only six months and counting Hunters.
 
Hi guys my name is Shawn. Count me in for the Con. I am new here, but i dont have a pred suit yet. I would be more than glad to be there and help out with anything, water ect. What ever you guys need. I live like 3 hours away from San Deigo. If im not in the academy for california department of corrections I will deff be there. But i will go ahead and request the days off at my work just incase im still at my current job. I would like to have a fully buit suit by the next Convention, but with a baby boy on the way, money will be tight. But i should deff be there guys. I will go ahead and order my Hunters Lair shirt and hat if availible. If ther are any guys from Socal near Bakersfield let me know PM me or something. I would like to start getting my suit going piece by piece for now even if its just some shoulder armore and bio's some small stuff for now or if someone could point me in the right dirrection. That would be great also.

Well i really hope to be there and meet some of you guys and gals.

WARNING::::::::::::::: :p WARNING::::::::::::I SPOKE WITH THE ASSISSTANT DIRECTOR FOR THE CONVENTION OF WHERE THE COMIC CON IS ALWAYS AT (friend of the family) HE SAID THAT THEY ARE GOING TO SELL OUT EVERYDAY........2 DAY PASSES........3 DAY PASSES..............EVEN THHE PRE-REGISTERED 4 DAY PASSES...........PRETTY SOON AND THAT 97% OF THE HOTELS ARE ALREADY BOOKED DOWNTOWN (GASLAMP) AREA. ALSO...............THE COMIC CON WILL BE HELD UNTIL THE YEAR 2012 AT THE CONVENTION CENTER....AFTER THAT THEY WILL NEGOTIATE OTHER OPTIONS LIKE ONE WEEK LONG COMIC-CON OR MAKE IT A 2 WEEKEND EVENT. I GOT SOME GREAT INSIDE NEWS ABOUT THE CON.........DONT MISS OUT. HOPEFULLY THIS HELPS PEOPLE AND GIVE YOU AN IDEA OF WHAT MAY HAPPEN.
 
Hey Grayback !!! answer to your question I work in corrections right now, but not for the State, but for a private company for the Federal Government. Well back to topic I need to order my tickets right away then if im going to help out then.
