SAN DIEGO COMIC CON 2011 - Whats New, Pictures and Stories, ....Post it all here!

Some exclusives I saw that I felt were cool. Hot Wheels had a tiny scale BTTF Deloreon to offer with nice nuclear case packaging. Matty Collector had a big Stay Puff Marshmellow Man for sale with a huge city diorama background included. This will be offered on their website after the Con is over.

TymerDC, thanks for taking the time to post the pics. I was born and raised in SD and have been going to the CC since 1980, could not make it this year. Thanks for sharing.

Some screen used props from Inception and the large studio scale miniature radio controlled Batmobile were on display.....can't remember which booth this was at. I'm sure there's many guys on this forum who would love to own it.

Over at the Entertainment Earth booth I loved the full scale replica "Mystic Seer" and "Talky Tina" from the Twilight Zone. The Mystic seer works just like on tv with coin slot and an answer card that comes out after you ask it a question and push the lever down.
Talky Tina says all the things she said in the episode including "Hi.. I'm Talky Tina and I"m going to kill you".

This poster was interesting with a note saying this will soon be a major motion picture by JJ Abrams.

For some of you fans of Bruce Timm who has been a long time artist, animator, writer, and producer which includes his work on Batman the Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Superman Animated Series and Justice League will be publishing a new art book...the poster speaks for itself.

Didn't see alot of costumers while I was there ...or just didn't notice them.....this Cylon costume was good.

Here's a few pics of UD Replicas' leather biker riding outfits. I especially like the Tron themed ones. I was told they make ones that light up but in the pics below keep in mind what looks like lighted suits is just reflective material from the camera flash

Over in the gaming section a company called "Triforce" were selling Gears of War replica weapons and busts.

Well thats all I have....please post and share if you have anything interesting to tell or show. Lets see what some of you bought too !!

Yes thanks Tymer for another year of great Pics and coverage!!

Thanks for the pix! I'll never make it to the con either :/
Lots of fun stuff! Love the lightsaber lamps, UD suits, Sideshow etc

Thanks for the pics! I'm hoping someone took some shots of the Joker costume and the mask on display as well as the other dark knight displays there...

I'm not sure and didn't think to ask. From looking at this model closely I honestly doubt it. It would be an easy thing just to examine a polar lights kit and see if there's any "tells" that match. Its sitting on display right next to the edge of the booth so you can practically breath on it. Regardless the model is freaking beautiful and frankly if I could afford it I'd buy it.

I hear ya.
It is nice.
However, it's the POLAR LIGHTS kit with a really nice job.
How the Production ones would fair, well, thats a 5k gamble few will have the gnads to wager.

Someone posted pics of those somewhere on this forum.....I saw them somewhere....you'll have to look around. Didn't see the display and I musta walked right past them or I would have taken pics.
