So you may have seen me panhandling for a Saber Rider pepakura suit. Well, I give credit where credit's due to RPF member Hazmat, as he's modeling and unfolding almost everything aside from the helmet (this kind person here did it as a request! Granted it's a bit huge and I had to rescale it); though the sword, hands and feet will be of my own, non-pepakura work. He's been a delight to deal with and he deserves every penny for his work.
This is my first armor build, and I don't claim to know how to do anything except from what I've picked up from tutorial videos. (Though it isn't my first work with pepakura, that honor goes to a canister I'm making for my BLU Medic's backpack: which I actually modeled myself in Sketchup). But with any luck, it won't turn out that bad. :lol
So this thread will be a chronicle of my progress, and once pieces are finished I'll edit this first post with them!
(And by the way, Saber Rider is this fine Scottish gentleman down here, which I've colored myself for reference: )

(You all should watch the show sometime, it's cheesy as all heck and glosses a bit too much over obvious deaths from the original Bismark series, but it's still super-charming and actually pretty entertaining...and good luck ever getting that theme song out of your head.)
