Rubie's Star Wars The Force Awakens Blasters

Just wanted to let you guys know that Rubie's is making a FO Stormtrooper Blaster, as well as Finn's Blaster. I've seen Finn's Blaster at Target in the Halloween section, but it seems a little bit underscaled. Not sure about the Trooper blaster, but it might be decent for a conversion for trooping?

Lookimg at the other photos it is used in - it appears to be child sized. The photos it is shown in are of children's costumes.

The detailing on these Rubies Blasters look great but they do both look really undersized for an adult which is a shame because they would have made great cheap conversions

Rubies Leia, Boba Fett & E-11 were all pretty good so I'd had high hopes for these

I'm currently still I the fence myself - the trooper blaster they currently have out is terrible, and every helmet I've seen looked great in the pictures but terrible in person. I guess we can hope they come out decent enough to be a passable base.

There are SOME already available in retail atm, but they're pretty terrible. I didn't see Finn's, but I did find the current Trooper:



There's no stock, clip is on the wrong side, and the piece seems even smaller than the promo picture suggests.

Every website I've seen the Phasma version on says out of stock, except one or two which say they'll ship on the 30th - this coincides with the next release of merchandise so my guess is that's when the trooper blaster for adults drops.

Now we just have to see how close to the pictures the production models actually are :-(

I may have the wrong end of the stick here but your pictures look to be of the Rebels animated E-11 Blaster not the new Ep7 one

they're a touch undersized but paint up ok

While they're being marketed as TFA blasters (you can see Kylo on the packaging) them being based on E-11s from the animated series explains the problems with them!

If they paint well, I might keep them in mind as backups in case I can't get anything better by premier!

Kylo is on all packaging, TFA or not... it's their current branding
