Gone but not forgotten.
Hi, I'm looking for reviews and pics of this. What are its strong points, weak points, how's it's size, etc.

Can I get some real pics from anyone who owns one? Almost all I can find online are the one stock publicity pic, or shots of them still in their boxes.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Sarge, I actually like mine. I do just use them for display. Although I am still looking for a good visor for it. So many helmets seem to be just too big, although this one is on the smaller side, I think it is more realistic looking then a very obversized ones. In a perfect world I would like it just a little bigger. My only real complaint is that it isn't very thick, which only really means that it can be bent out of shape if I (and I have) throw it into a box (although with a tiny bit of heat I can reshape it. For the most part the lines of the helmet are all crisp and clear, and I think it looks pretty good (after I added the stripe for a little Captain coloring) But best of all is the price. At $50 bucks I think it is a great deal. And until I find one for $100 (my price cap for all SW helmets) it will keep it's place in my collection.
Here are a few pics - sorry not the greatest quality.

Its a piece of junk. Undersized, poorly shaped, inaccurate in too many ways to count. It's not even worth the $50 it costs. It's one of the worst helmets Rubies makes...and they make some bad helmets.

Sorry dude ^ but this pic says it all:

Forget the AOTC helmet where'd you get that ROTS clone and royal gaurd lid for under a $100 Knights ?
I'll have one of each :cool :thumbsup

Not a problem foxbatkllr, we just don't agree.
I still think it is well worth 50 bucks, and I would rather have it in the shelf then nothing, which is what I would have without it. I just can't pay 300 bucks for a piece of plastic that will sit on a shelf in my spare room. I am glad the are different options for different people. There are plenty of other helmets out there for folks that don't like it. I know it isn't my best helmet, but this version has never seem to be as popular as the ROTS clone, and I have not seen a good priced one. Besides when I do find a good one under $100 I will give this one to my Nephew - who (at 11 years old) loves it.:)

Hey defstartrooper,
I got the ROTS clone lid right here in the JK for under $100 (including the shipping.)
I also got the Imperial Guard helmet here in the JY as well. It was broken (I fixed it) and the seller only charged me for shipping (about $12.)

Wow real bargains :thumbsup tend to agree with you $50 is nothing is it i don't like the episode ii clone lid though myself even if it was a spot on accurate one just don't like the look of them.
