I don’t think that is Simon’s helmet. Simon’s was completely stripped of paint. I know RS did do replacement ears for the Move Along helmet. But I think the reason the suit comes with a replica helmet and is a different lot than the move along helmet is because they are owned by different people. I could be wrong though…

It is indeed the Move Along helmet, and the private owner commissionned RS Prop Masters to restore the ears a couple of years ago since they were missing from the actual helmet

Sad to see Simon sell his suit but forever grateful that he cast it for us. The best thing about the newest Propstore auctions is the fantastic pics we get from them.

I don't blame him one bit for selling it. He's had many years to enjoy it, and as the fan base ages, the value might not continue to go up that much. Now he'll have a tidy sum to retire comfortably on.
