Interest ROTS Obi Wan Belt Hanger

This looks great! With it being made of carbon steel, do you guys know how the weight compares to other Obi-Wan ROTS hilts such as Roman's Inception Elite, etc.?

as far as I am a ware it will be the most heavy obi wan episode 3 replica to date. It is more similar in weight to the Master replicas Obi wan and Roman's MK1 weight.
Not sure if I missed something, my apologies if so, but what elements are going to be steel and why? Specifically, what research or resources pointed to that metal as the accurate choice?

Remember there are two versions - right now we’re focused on the FX while Ronin is financing this up front.
Machined and vacuum metalized plastics will be accurate for the static but are not appropriate for an installable, dueling worthy FX saber.

Roger Roger! Something that, I def forgot about the different materials for the 2 versions, thank you for the reply B!

Just made an account to say that I’m interested in the FX version ! Quite a few interesting design choices, and I’m pretty confident Ronin will make a nice chassis for it…

The neck construction will most likely be sturdy enough, especially with the steel bolt. This is what convinced me to get a MoM from 7Chambers, even though I’m super wary about thin necks.

The biggest point of attention to me is the emitter. 7/8inch is good (lighter blade, easier to swing around), but I’m still wondering about blade depth, the way the blade is secured, maybe a FX emitter… ?

I’d love to have a few more precisions on that aspect :)

Most of these details will be covered when I do my full review of hilt and chassis Install. In the meantime, Blade retention screw is visible from the outside of the emitter for easy access (I wasn't a huge fan of the threaded emitter caps with hidden retention screws due to the problems that could occur). There is a recessed lip for the hilt side PCB to maximize blade depth (so the PCB holder doesn't take away blade depth once installed). The blade depth measures to .68" from PCB lip to emitter top.
