ROTJ Stormtrooper Armour

I would also like to take this time to thank all the people behind us for all your hard work and help. This wouldn't have been possible without you. Thank you Jeremy for the ABS research, Gav for the production of the helmet moulds, mike for the decals, steve for lenses and of course the vac forming company and anyone else I've missed.

:thumbsup

Great work guys! Your efforts to bring the fans such a great set of armor are much appreciated. Can't wait to see this baby put together.

Nice looking suit guys!

Mark, a few months back we exchanged a few PMs. You mentioned an upcoming project, but not what it was. I don't know if you remember, but is this the result of that project? Can't wait to see some pictures of some of these put together.

Hi Mate,

Yes, I remember and yes this is the project I was telling you about. It's taken a fair old while to get to where we are now but I think it was worth the blood, sweat and tears! :lol

Going back to the casting formed pieces, I have sharpened my moulds just to alleviate the roundness from the original forming. I have been quite clear about this from the very start. You can see and read this on other forums specifically the FISD.

Thanks!

The biggest broblem with this armour is that I now want to buy a set.
That means I would probably need to either buy a bigger house or find a divorce lawyer for when my wife kicks me out.

Well done guys for creating and offering such a fantastic set of armour.

Craig

So, when do we get to see a set put together and being mauled by ewoks? Bring on the action poses!

Wow,well I had no idea this thread existed til today. I don't normally look in the costuming section but it is correct to have stormtrooper props here as they really are costumes.

I used to own an Oakley set of armor and it was really nice. It's good to see you guys bringing it back again. The most important thing to me is you've obtained his original molds and are not just blatent recasters as we don't need any more of them. You guys should be really proud for that as I'm sure you've invested alot to bring this to the table.

Your armor looks really sweet so you can give youselves a pat on the back. I think it's great also that you have Joes helmet as oakleys wasn't that great. I really need to get one soon as they just have that uber ROTJ look and keiths build in the other thread really is stellar. Oh and that ABS rocks. :love

Ben

Thanks Ben

I would love to see you do a build up on one of these, or KEITH can do a full assembly.

I appreciate your kind words.

Joe
