"Romancing The Stone" Map

I'm planned ng to make the map from "Romancing The Stone" so far my previous attempts have failed & they failed due to the dye in the paper. Anybody have any ideas on how to age paper?

Don't they use tea?

Yes. Tea and coffee. Even a few minutes in the oven to add more coloring. If you print from an inkjet and try this, the print will bleed badly, so you need to make sure your print is from a laser printer.

Though I have had success making the paper first, and once dry, running it through my inkjet to add the image. I never had an issue that way.

Thats the only "fail" you have? Like others said, coffee,tea etc. everyone seems to have a certain technique to ageing paper. Im sure there are threads on here with advice. Id love to see your progress photos if you have any? I loved that movie.
