Filled the slots for the straps.

Some last filling and sanding.


Installed the trigger and the mechanism.


That´s it for the moment. I won´t do any more changes.

Before putting on the first silver/chrome colour, I sprayed on one last layer of grey primer.


The first layer of silver/chrome is sprayed on. This I´ll let dry for about 24 hours.

Started with the base for the holster. Using... hardfoam. Later it will be covered with faux-leather.



Next will be doing the back of the holster.


To secure the blaster from falling out of the holster, I will use N52 rare earth magnets. Twi glued to the inside of the blaster and two into the back of the holster.


Last, but not least another layer of silver/chrome sprayed on.

You are welcome, mate! I´m painting the blaster at the moment. Some wip pics will follow in the next hours. So stay tuned.

Finished the paintjob. I used black and dark brown acrylic paint, brushed on in several layers.


Next is spraying on a highgloss clearcoat. This will have to dry 24 hours.

Recieved my softparts yesterday and couldn´t wait to do a pose! I know I´ll have to iron the softparts, but it was fresh out of the making. Still have to find some fitting boots and a new belt.

Great Blaster build - not a fan of the CPS costume, but it bugs me because the cloak is WAY wrong. Rest of it looks great though.
