Well, one thing I know is that it's a knockoff of the Ring Magazine's Championship Belt that they've been giving to champions for several decades:

There is a sell on Ebay that sells excellent replicas of this for like $900. He is located in Agentina I believe.

Just noticed there was a licensed/plated costume belt released in 2006.

Not bad for what appears to have been marketed as a childs toy.

it looks like it could be used as a base for a pretty nice replica... how could one go about the soft parts?
