Do you mean a copy of the MR helmet ?

There are several fibreglas and resin versions of fanmade helmets out there, you might want to check the rocketeer boards for more info on those. And there you sure will find info on the backpacks as well.

it does not have to be a MR copy ( who would copy anyway ) :rolleyes

ive checked afew of the Rocketeere forums but its all a bit quite at the moment on them

is the maker a member here of that kit ??? i have never order any prop from a cataloge
web site before

many thanks for the link on the helmet it looks just what im looking for

The maker is not a member here, but many RPF'ers here have been to his shop. While I don't know the owner of the website, I think the maker of the kit uses the site for sales. If you want another option, I think his kits are also available thru Monsters in Motion.

**Edit**

Personally, I own a Tim Arp helmet, and wouldn't part with it for all the tea in China. Tim's kits are no longer available, so the next best thing is this helmet kit. If I didn't have the helmet that I own now, I would absolutley own one of these kits. IIRC, both have a lineage from an original Rocketeer helmet.

Lonnie speaks the truth. The one sold through Monsters in Motion and Time Slip is the one to get. There's some cheaper versions that show up on ebay from time to time but they are pretty horrible on the accuracy side of things. The MiM/TimeSlip kit will set you back $200. A rocketpack kit goes for around $1,000.
