Hello there.
For those of you who didn't already know, I have built another female robot statue in the past named Cyrah. The reason why I built this was because I needed a mannequin for my female Tusken Raider costume since I'm a guy who doesn't want to wear women's clothing and so forth... The rest of the story why I had to build her can be seen here - www.DarkSideSithLord.com - My Custom Creations - Cyrah
And now I am building a female robot statue again, but this time it is not because I need it for a costume now that I have Cyrah for that, but having built Cyrah and made some futuristic sci-fi photos with her, I realized that building and photographing female robot statues was pretty darn cool, and I like the way they look too since I'm interested in robots in general. Since Cyrah was simply just a converted mannequin, it is very limited in movement so that all photos of her pretty much just show her standing there with different head and arm poses. I wanted to take more photos of her with my other robots and things like that, but since this will not be possible without photo editing, I started thinking about building another female robot statue completely from scratch with a fully articulated body this time.
I already had a styrofoam female head that I could not identify what-so-ever that had a very interesting and cute face, so I made a cast of it using clay as the mold and cast it in fiberglass. When building Cyrah, many people said they liked the sort of white "all is full of love music video" looking female robot instead of what I was building and that I should add lights inside of it, so this Android will look more like that this time.
Here is my first idea sketch (unfinished)
The full white look is still there, but I want her to look more like the female robot they used to show in those shaver commercials a while back since Zenia will also look Asian. Plus adding some purple lights and details will make her look a little like Wowwee's Femisapien robot too, which I also have here in my robot collection.
